A management platform for accounting firms. It came out of working with them and seeing that the software on offer didn't solve what they actually needed.
Why accounting firms
They were my client base for a long time. I know how they work, what they struggle with and where the tools they use fall short.
What was missing
The industry's systems solve isolated pieces. None of them brings the information into one place or does anything with it. TEV takes those problems and solves them together.
One at a time, or for everyone
I could solve it firm by firm, custom each time. But after understanding the problem across more than thirty accountants, it makes more sense to build something complete once and get it to all of them.
What I'm after
That it covers what each firm needs and takes work off their hands. The time that today goes into tasks the software should handle on its own.
